[Career Highlights]

Early on in her career, Jing bridged high-level connections for some of the earliest companies introducing luxury brands to the Chinese market, and managed joint-venture initiatives for numerous international enterprises expanding into Asia.

After earning her Master of Arts degree in Theatre Arts from Florida State University in 2001, Jing returned to New York City and assumed key positions in several leading arts and cultural organizations.  She played a pivotal role in shaping 2g(2g.org)’s Asian Excellence Awards celebrating outstanding Asian Americans in Entertainment on some of New York’s most iconic stages. As Managing Director of the IFP Independent Film Week (now thegotham.org), Jing successfully led the festival’s production and spearheaded its rebranding effort, transforming the then 30-year-old IFP Market & Conference.  As Chief of Staff at the Apollo Theater, Jing worked closely with the President and the Board of Directors to advance the organization’s top priorities including long-range strategic planning and implementation. As the President’s strategic support, trusted counsel, thought partner and advisor, Jing strategized, planned and steered special initiatives forward while providing insight and oversight during significant organizational transitions.

[Early Influences - Evolved Awareness]

Jing was raised in a traditional Chinese household in Beijing. Her core beliefs were rooted in Buddhist and Taoist principles, which she credits with grounding her, setting her apart, and influencing her perspectives and approach as she navigates both personal and professional challenges—having embarked on an independent journey to the U.S. in her early twenties.

Through advanced studies and a wealth of lived experiences marked by challenges that sparked rebirth and led to profound soul-searching, Jing deconstructed and reshaped her worldview, dismantling societal-imposed, self-limiting beliefs. She emerged anew, embracing authenticity and organic growth, cultivating a newfound depth of self-awareness she’d never thought attainable. She firmly believes that everyone’s path is uniquely their own, ‘gifted’ with obstacles that are curated to fuel growth and transformation. She advocates that leaders must first embark on their personal journey to become their best selves, cultivating self-awareness and living with authenticity and intention.

Jing is grounded in the conviction that true transformation begins with achieving physical, mental, and spiritual well-being and harmony. Having emerged from her own trials and tribulations unscathed, stronger, and with a joy that radiates from within, she now channels her hard-earned wisdom to empower others to do the same.

Through her ongoing coaching and advisory work, Jing helps today’s change-makers and independent thinkers unlock their true potential, embrace their authenticity, be their best selves, and do their best work, creating meaningful impact with joy.
